ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
I would like to thank Robert Lomax of RSL Educational for his wealth of knowledge and infectious enthusiasm in English. With his insightful guidance in the English learning journey, Doge Child has developed enjoyment in creative writing and stepped up to the next level in reading comprehension. Doge Child is still his student after Eleven Plus exam.
I would like to thank Anna Donovan of My Home Class for her patience in guiding Doge Child in the early journey of creative writing. Without Anna, the passion for creative writing would never be conceived in him.
I would like to thank George Callaghan of The Education Hotel for teaching Doge Child to be an effective learner. George was not only good at English, but also very knowledgeable in history, politics and art. This stretched Doge Child's abilities in comprehension and crafting descriptions.
I would like to thank Gemma Louise Bull of Lion Education. Doge Child had learned pivotal reading skills and vocabulary in abundance from Gemma. With her expertise, Doge Child was able to understand writing techniques adopted by all-time favourite writers.
I would like to thank Kamilah Hale of Wordier for her online vocabulary courses. Their game-based learning approach had built up Doge Child's breadth of knowledge in vocabulary.
I would like to thank Helen Dickman of The 11+ English Club for her online vocabulary courses. Helen wrote interesting stories incorporating essential vocabulary, which made learning vocabulary fun and easy.
I would like to thank Mrs. Glasson and Mrs. Glasson's Online English Tuition. Her 11+ foundation course and vocabulary course had equipped Doge Child with essential knowledge in English. Mrs. Glasson was an excellent English teacher and her expertise was unique.
I would like to thank Sheena L. Ager for her books - The Cadwaladr Quests Trilogy. We bought them at the early stage of the 11+ journey. It was an intriguing story with a built-in dictionary for essential 11+ vocabulary. Doge Child and I still remember them in our vivid memories.
I would like to thank Alexander Rosenberg of LinkyThinks for his sparks of creativity - colourful and graphical learning resources. Doge Child could easily visualise the meanings of five senses and 'show, not tell' through his resources.
