Describe the experience turning into an animal

I woke up with an inexplicable feeling of dismay; the first thing I saw was earthy leaves and some gigantic trees that were rusted all over. I felt different compared to the last time I was awake. I reached up for the great wooden sheet that was lying across my body and I tried pushing it aside and it felt strangely crinkly; there were veins all over it and then it dawned me. This was an enormous leaf; was I enormous; or was I suddenly microscopic. I glanced at my hands to see they were covered in light fur and had five claws at the end. I tried screaming, but instead I hissed irately. A smelly odour wafted from my chest. I found myself chasing a tail round and round in circles in a panic that was overtaking me. I wished beyond anything that I could reverse the curse. If I didn't, my mother would not recognise me! I worried about what I was going to do the time I got home and thought about all the good times I had before I was in this muddle. Will my mother recognise me?
