Do you think animal testing should be banned?

I believe animal testing should be banned because it very similar to torturing a living being. Imagine this. You are in a bright lab with tall, odd creatures towering over you, speaking in a language that you don’t understand. They have odd things at their arms with four medium sized blund-ended claws and one short claw.

Then, they grab demonic tools and shove them inside you, making you cry out in intense agony to the point of suffocation. Every day, they repeat this process until you die, and then they find a new species to torture. In my opinion, animal testing is just animal cruelty and should be banned. I am writing to ask you to please ban animal testing.

Some people believe animal testing is helpful because analysing animals can create new medicine for humans. An example of this would be the medicine, insulin. Insulin comes from cows’ and pigs’ pancreas. That means that without the study of these animals, millions of people would die of cancer since they would not be able to stop it from evolving.

Another group of people believe that animal testing is cruel and must be stopped because it hurts the animals, who feel the same amount of suffering as humans. A group of scientist, who believe animal testing is cruel, have created a successful medicine from plants called the iorphoro which stops muscle aches.
