I think my experience for education has been a positive one because I have learnt a lot from school. The teachers help me remember everything they teach me by repeating what they say many times and give out increasingly severe punishments if my classmates or I misbehave a lot and this is very well since misbehaving children do not learn much as they grow older. This is uncommon though since children don’t normall misbehave to that degree.
In the past, my English and maths skills were barely decent; now, my school is pushing me to be at my top standard. My school doesn’t offer just English and maths; it offers many more that boost my mental wellbeing instead of just my brain. They offer drama, singing, dance, books and sports clubs. What’s better is that these clubs each have their own trained professional teacher which means that students excel in them too!
School also encourages me to be organised and on time to everything. Some examples would be: waking up early, packing my bags the day before school starts, and arriving to lessons on time. I was like a huge shark in a little pond in my primary school. Now, I am a hungry little fish in an ocean, hunting for food to grow bigger eventually in my new secondary school.
My favourite subject is maths and luckily for me, my maths teacher is kind and incredibly funny. He uses tricks such as building blocks and toy numbers and even jokes to help us understand maths. He is unlike the other teachers who are strict.
The homework my teachers give me is difficult but when I master it with the slight help of my parents, I can zoom through the subjects in class more easily, like an athlete.
I am very lucky to have got into such a wonderful school and I hope my abilities increase through it. My characteristics include wittiness and curiosity. Overall, I would say that my education has been positive and I look forward to my next five years.
