Dear Mr. Burrow,
I am Tabby Blend from Year Six of Sunshine Preparatory School and I am writing for you to consider reducing speed limits to twenty miles per hour for Little Sun Lane.
Firstly, speeding along Great Sun Road into Little Sun Lane is dangerous because it contains small, narrow roads which can cause cars to crash or slide across. Last week, a car turned into a sharp curve to stop for crossing children so a loud "SKID" caused a jet-black cloud of smoke twirling in the air. If the cars start speeding while being on Little Sun lane and children come out of unnoticeable corners or bushes, it takes time to decide when to brake and requires a certain distance to fully stop the car.
Secondly, speedy cars tend to involve serious injuries and accidents. Two weeks ago on Monday, a purple lorry hit an innocent pupil because of speeding with a "CRUNCH" and left him lifeless like jelly on the ground. When teachers came and picked him up dangling in the air. Blood spurted up in the air with rose red tone. My heart was pumping in terror as I watched my fellow friend twitching and I wished the accident would never have happened.
Bearing in mind all these, I hope you could change the speed limits to twenty miles per hour so that similar accidents would never happen again.
Yours Sincerely,
Tabby Blend
