Decline the new housing project (persuasive letter)

Dear Mr. Bean,
I am writing to persuade you not to replace the local park with new housing. Replacing the local park should not be allowed, because many people who live in the area would have no more physical entertainment; this means the children will soon have aching legs due to sitting down so much for such a long period of time.
Secondly, if the park was removed, children would not be able to find a nearby place to play. Some children might just stay in the house all day; that is not very good for a child's or adult's mental health.
Thirdly, it would be much harder to move around because of new housing in the way - with the playground, you can go through it but if there were houses, you would have to walk around them.
Fourthly, new housing means new families so the demand for electricity and water would increase, potentially causing problems.
With all these in mind, I hope you would not proceed the new housing project but retain the local park for the community, especially for the children.
Yours Sincerely,
John Nope
