Perhaps, travelling might help us understand the world and ourselves better. Could I use modern technologies to learn about countries, or should I go to them myself? However, is this the best way to approach it? I want to think about whether travelling will help us understand about the world and ourselves or whether staying home could achieve the same.
When we travel, we encounter many countries and people. We meet friends who can explain about their countries to us. If we are sociable, we will meet many people who speak different languages. This makes you excited to learn a new language. We can also understand poor and rich people's lives. The physical trip would be in our long-term memory.
However, this takes a long tine and uses much money; perhaps, you need a whole lifetime to get to travel the world. What's more, I don't need to travel to understand myself and my interests; I can participate in school activities and volunteering work. I can meet new friends and take care of younger children. I learn about myself by finding my interest in activities like these.
Instead of travelling to the world, there can be a shortcut. You can search about the country you are interested in on the internet. You can look into Britannica (an online encyclopaedia) or BBC food where Rick Stein records his efforts made in food. These methods would save you a lot of time, money, and effort. Using the internet and television will find most of information about any country instantly. When you go on the internet, you can get everything in one place. However, when you travel you have to find things one by one.
Physically travelling the world is time wasting and expensive and we can just learn about ourselves at home. In conclusion, I would choose to use modern technology because it is accessible, fast and reliable. Internet and television become great alternatives so l highly recommend using these methods.
