Tom and Jordan were going to witness the most terrifying thing in their lives.
Trembling with fear, Tom (a timid ten-year-old) and his brother Jordan (a brave eleven year old) tiptoed into the dilapidated house; everyone in their village was talking about it with a shiver. As soon as they submerged their whole bodies into the room, the door shut behind them.
“OH NO! We are in for a lot of trouble if mother catches us wondering into random houses,” shivered Tom. Tom had a chill down his spine. His heart raced like a machine gun shooting.
“Nah. I don’t care about going home. I only care about exploring this mysterious place,” boasted Jordan.
Jordan in front, the two entered the kitchen; there were a thousand cobwebs all hung in the corners of the walls. Tom wailed as loud as a chainsaw.
“Do you want to get us caught here dummy?” asked Jordan.
“NO!” yelled Tom.
“Never mind,” sighed Jordan.
The two left the kitchen and into the living room. Everything was as grey as dirty snow. The amount of dust was incredible.
“WHAT IS THIS!” coughed Tom.
“STOP SCREAMING!” yelled Jordan. “Oh, wait. I just screamed.”
They gladly left the living room and dashed upstairs. Once they saw the grotesque monster decorations, they knew that the owner left the house on Halloween. Out of his mind, Tom sprinted as crazy as a monkey around the house. As soon as he did a whole circle around the second floor he collapsed in tiredness.
“You seriously need to control yourself,” muttered Jordan. After hours of being in the house, they finally finished the vast second floor. However, there was the third floor to explore. When they reached the final stairs, they found out the third level was pitch black and there was a low growling sound. Something was drawing them upstairs. Tic. Toc. Tic. Toc. They felt like puppets. Would they ever be able to leave this horror house?
