Gazing out at the children who were sledging down the hill, I looked down at my sledge, taking a deep breath. I made a quick run to throw myself and the snow vehicle off of the hill, sliding down as fast as a cheetah. I laughed joyfully while anticipating to go down the tallest slope in the area; I could hear the soughing of the wind in the trees and the gentle whir of sledges that other people were sliding along behind me. Since my brain persuaded me to do it, I heaved my bulky sleigh all the way to the top of the hillside (Everyone was too busy to give me a helping hand ☹).
I called down to the people below me, “I AM GOING TO GO DOWN THIS MONSTER SLOPE!” Looking down at the dangerous yet intriguing slope, my heart rate got higher. As I entered my sleigh and was buckling the safety belt up onto my belly, SMACK; someone or something propelled me down the 200-metre-high slope…
