Dear Mrs Deary,
l am writing to suggest a place where our class, Year 6, could go for our school journey. l
think we could consider camping at Mountain Peak.
Firstly, we would be able to run around and play together because of the vast green field.
We can scale the mountain and leave ourselves with a beautiful memory. There is a considerable
amount of space to set up our camp. We could even light a campfire if we wanted without the worry of catching a forest fire - there is not a nearby forest. Since this place is far away from human
habitation, we can sing songs and play games as loud as a chainsaw; nobody will complain. Although these things are superficially just fun, in fact, they add up to a really useful experience of living collaboratively outdoors.
Secondly, It would also make a good topic for History lessons -this place has a monumental
site where we can see thousands of ancient crumpled stone walls belonging to an emperor's castle
dated back in the Roman era. We could describe all of the things we had seen after the trip.
Thirdly, we can learn about human beings breathing in oxygen and breathing out carbon
dioxide whereas plants breathing in carbon dioxide and breathing out oxygen. This will make an
interesting science topic to study.
Finally, on tripadvisers.com people have highly rated this place and left good comments for
viewers, so I suggest our school try this place. I promise that you will not regret this decision.
Yours Sincerely,
John Doe
